I've started using all the trims, ribbons and papers
I've been hording and assembled a Magical
Halloween Party Hat.
It's in my Etsy Shop,
It was fun putting this together, and I think I'll make some
Christmas  themed hats and stockings.
Thanks for taking a look,

Primitive Folk Art Witch Doll by Rustic Rose Prims

This Witch is made of painted and stained osnaburg. She is about 21 inches not including her witch hat. She has painted eyes a sculpted nose and stitched lips. I added shading around her eyes. She has black and gray wool hair that is needle felted in place. She is wearing a black polkdot dress and beige and black floral dress. Around her waist is vintage ribbon and a vintage buckle. I hand stitched some tinsel around her neckline. Her shoes are painted black with white stitched laces. Her hat is made of black fleece. I stitched some orange and black paper garland around it. Her witch hat is attached with a vintage glass bead pin. You can remove her hat if you wish. She comes with a broom made of a twig an some Sweet Annie. Her hang tag is also handmade. She can be displayed hanging or sitting.
My dolls are made for display and not for children.
She is a "Rustic Rose Prims" original and will come to you signed and dated.
Thanks so much for looking today!

Primitive folk art Halloween Fall Annie Doll

I have a new doll listed on Ebay this week!

Annie is made to sit. She is 10 inches tall sitting from her bottom to the top of her head) and 15 inches tall to the top of her umbrella.

I made her from osnaburg fabric. Her eyes and mouth are painted with acrylics. Her lashes and brows are thread. Her cheeks are blushed with prisma pencils. Her nose is thread. Her hair is wool roving. I made her dress from cotton prints and her coat from wool felt.

I made her umbrella from yellow ticking trimmed with rusty bells. Her owl friend is made from dried walnut shells and rusty wire. The owl is attached to the umbrella with rusty wire. The umbrella is attached to Annie's coat/arm with thread. The umbrella's stick is made to sit on the table beside Annie. This helps the umbrella to stand nicely.
The entire piece has been aged with walnut ink and coffee.
This is a The Vintage Polka Dot original. I made her from my Abbott Punkinman Pattern.

Lanore from Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven"

…….Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December,
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow;--vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow--sorrow for the lost Lenore--
For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore--
Nameless here for evermore…… "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe
This is Lanore. She is a cage doll that Pam Lynch of "Back in the Day Originals", created in honor of Edgar Allan Poe's, "The Raven". She is mounted on a black metal cage and she has inserted an embellished black raven in the cage and a likeness of Edgar Allan Poe is attached to the tag on her dress. Lanore has lots of wonderful vintage detail. You can find her on eBay!
